  Emtel™ , a physician-owned company, has been in the Practice Management Services since 1999. Our method is not simply to staff with physicians who provide emergency care. We offer a collaborative, team oriented relationship with the Hospital in order to support the physicians in the Emergency Department (ED) with a range of services that will add value to the facility and result in a higher level of care.

Emtel’s philosophy is that a dedicated group of highly qualified physicians should form a stable, permanent core group for ED services. Our recruitment focuses on board certified, or board eligible, ER residency trained physicians.

Emtel’s physicians are incentivized to promote performance improvement and enhanced service standards. Incentives are based on a number of criteria tailored to fit the needs of each facility. Some examples of incentive bonus criteria are:

• 95% physician customer satisfaction;
• Participation in risk management programs;
• Optimal turnaround times (TAT);
• Involvement in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) direction.
