Charles J. Neilson,

Dr.
Neilson is an emergency medicine specialist from Houston, Texas. He
is a graduate of Albany Medical College in Albany, New York in 1975
and then attended the Family Practice residency at Baylor College of
Medicine in Houston. He began practice in 1977 as a family physician
for 21 years in southwest Houston before limiting his practice to emergency
medicine exclusively in 1998. At Memorial Southwest (Memorial Hermann
Southwest) Hospital, he served over fifteen years on the Family Practice
Ad hoc Committee for Quality Assurance (peer review). He is a Fellow
of the American Academy of Family Physicians and maintains certification
in the Advanced Trauma Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support,
and Pediatric Advanced Life Support courses periodically. He has also
practiced at various emergency departments as an emergency physician
as early as 1977 and full time since 1998.
