Emtel
maintains a practice management support infrastructure to meet operational
and regulatory requirements. Some of the support activities provided
by the practice management infrastructure include:

current billing software and providing frequent training updates for
its administrative employees.
Perpetually exploring
ways to integrate and webify applications to increase efficiency and
maintain compliance with industry guidelines.
Providing coders
that are certified members of the American Association of Professional
Coders. They attend continuing education classes in order to retain
that certification. The coding department uses the official coding guidelines
published by CMS and supported by the National Center for Health Statistics,
the American Medical Association, and the American Health Information
Management Association. Our coders maintain regular and direct contact
with our providers on all documentation related issues.
Responding to
all inquiries regarding patient billing to improve patient satisfaction,
even after the point of service.
Providing data
to contracted hospitals regarding the financial performance of Emtel,
patient satisfaction, and performance improvement programs.
Participating
in emergency medical services (EMS) meetings regarding the transport
of patients to the contracted facility.

and industry positioning.

Compliance Plan that meets regulatory compliance guidelines.
